The International Max Planck Research School in Chemical and Molecular Biology (IMPRS-CMB) is a joint initiative of the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology in Dortmund and three partner universities, the TU Dortmund, the Ruhr University Bochum and the University of Duisburg-Essen.

The IMPRS-CMB PhD Program offers an excellent interdisciplinary training in the areas of MOLECULAR and CELL BIOLOGY, BIOCHEMISTRY, BIOPHYSICS, APPLIED and THEORETICAL PHYSICS, MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY, CHEMICAL BIOLOGY, STRUCTURAL BIOLOGY, SYSTEMS BIOLOGY and related fields.
