Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE) is seeking to recruit a University Teacher in Corporate Communication starting n 1 January 2027, or as soon as possible after that for 3 years. The fixed-term position is for substitution.
The University Teacher contributes to teaching in corporate communication, and in the Digital Marketing and Corporate Communication Master's Programme In the teaching offered by the Corporate Communication group, corporate communication is broadly understood as involving both mediated and non-mediated communication within, of, and on behalf of organisations, as well as their relationships with stakeholders. The group’s current focus areas include strategic organisational communication, public sector communication, digital communication, social and digital marketing, corporate advocacy and public affairs, CSR and sustainability communication, stakeholder relationship management, crisis communication and issue management. For this position, the teaching is primarily on sustainability and corporate social responsibility, digital communication, and stakeholder management courses.
We are looking for a motivated and collaborative educator with expertise in digital marketing, corporate communication, and related fields. You have a relevant master's degree and experience in teaching key concepts, theories, and frameworks within the discipline, with the ability to connect academic content to professional practice.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience teaching in English and be prepared to coordinate the International Master's Degree Programme in Digital Marketing and Corporate Communication. Excellent English language skills are required.

The duties and qualification requirements of a University Teacher are stipulated by the University of Jyväskylä Regulations and language skills guidelines. A trial period of six months will be used in the beginning of the employment.

Salaries are based on job demands and employees’ performance following the Finnish University Salary System. The salary for a University Teacher is determined based on the task-specific demand level 5 for teaching and research staff. The salary range will be approximately 3700-4200 €/month (gross income), depending on the qualifications and experience of the candidate. A holiday bonus is paid to all employees. If you are relocating from abroad, we will support your move to Jyväskylä and Finland.
