Description of the research activity:
-Supports the management of a Linux server and the set up of an experimental Digital Art Lab. The aim is to provide specialists and non-specialists with an environment in which to run programmed digital art and to analyse it systematically and, as far as possible, automatically. In order to analyse these works from different periods, the platform must support various (including obsolete) operating systems, programming languages, libraries, etc. -Expands the Digital Art Lab by programming and integrating software tools for the analysis, reverse engineering or restoration of artworks, tailored to the needs of the research groups, and by optimising the user interface for different user groups. -Supports the research groups in all technical matters relating to the analysis of programmed and networked art.
