Based in the School of Health Sciences, University of Nottingham, this is an exciting opportunity to join our FCP teaching team. You will help to develop and deliver this new programme of study. Working collaboratively with HEI colleagues, local NHS stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and wider practice networks, you will help to build capability and sustainability for future FCP workforce needs. We are looking for experienced FCP practitioners, with experience of supervision of FCPs in primary care registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
The role is an Assistant Professor role to help lead and deliver components of the new PGCert in First Contact Practitioner (FCP). The post-holder will be responsible for the development and delivery of teaching on the 3 modules that form the programme of study for the PGCert in FCP.
The post holder may also help to develop new course proposals and may contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance and enhancement; undertake continuing professional development and work in partnership with staff and learners to maintain the highest standards in all areas of their work.
This is a permanent post. Hours of work are part-time (7.25 hours per week).
