Adjunct teaching staff (M/F) in English for academic purposes
The University of Luxembourg Language Centre is seeking to hire adjunct teaching staff specialized in English for academic purposes. We are especially interested in hearing from teachers who have experience in teaching in-sessional EAP courses to students from disciplines outside the humanities (e.g. law, engineering, computer sciences, economics) or who have taught EAP to doctoral students. Those who have only taught English for general or business purposes need not apply.
You should be a (near-) native speaker of English and need to live in the region. EAP teaching experience in higher education is essential, as is the ability to design course materials independently.
For an informal discussion about the job content, please contact Dr Katrien Deroey (Course Coordinator English) at email@example.com.

Application procedure: please submit your CV and cover letter via email to Dr Katrien Deroey (Course Coordinator English) at email@example.com.
Note that candidates have to comply with the University’s stipulations regarding adjunct teaching staff (article 39 - Act of 12 August 2003 initiating creation of the University of Luxembourg): they have to be employed full time by an employer other than the University or be self-employed. They may teach a maximum of 120 teaching units per academic year for the University of Luxembourg (1 teaching unit: 45 minutes).Weiterlesen
