There is a vacancy for the position of associate professor (førsteamanuensis) in occupational therapy at the Department of Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics. The position is vacant from 1 August 2020.
We are looking for a colleague who can contribute to strengthening research and teaching in the field of occupation therapy. In connection with the implementation of the new RETHOS programme description from the autumn semester 2020, and new practical training courses from spring 2021 onwards, we are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in and experience from the practical field.
The Department of Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics and Orthotics is one of the faculty’s five departments. The department offers two bachelor’s degree programmes, one master’s degree programme in occupational therapy, a further education programme in occupational therapy in primary health care, and an interdisciplinary further education programme in welfare technology. The department is also responsible for coordinating the Motion Analysis Laboratory, which is an inter-faculty laboratory.
General criteria for appointment to teaching and research positions are set out in the Regulations concerning appointment and promotion to teaching and research posts.

The salary for the position is in accordance with the pay scale for state employees, position code 1011, associate professor. The salary for the position is NOK 532,300– 691,400 per year at pay grade 60-74. A higher salary may be considered for particularly well-qualified applicants. Alternatively, 1009 assistant professor, with a salary of NOK 456,400-594,400 per year at pay grade 51-66.
