Vacancy for a pre-doctoral researcher in circular economy

The Department of Economics and the research Center of Economics and Corporate Sustainability CEDON of KU Leuven are looking for a motivated graduate student to carry out doctoral studies in the field of environmental economics and circular economy, starting in October 2024. CEDON is an interdisciplinary research group focusing on interactions between economics, business, sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (CSR). Within CEDON about 20 economists, engineers, psychologists and scientists are collaborating to help companies and society to develop sustainable development and CSR strategies. Considering the economic significance and the negative environmental impacts of the EU textile value chain, the proposed interdisciplinary research will focus on the transition towards a more sustainable and circular textile value chain in Belgium and abroad from a legal and economic perspective.
