The College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) are currently accepting applications for a full-time position as a Postdoctoral Researcher. The successful candidate will undertake a comprehensive review of innovative technological and management options to support climate change mitigation and adaptation actions in agriculture production systems across Africa. The overarching goal is to identify best-bet and best-fit technological and management options to support effective climate action in Africa, and to provide valuable insights to guide the development of projects aimed at scaling promising options.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a PhD Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related studies. The ideal candidate should showcase a capacity for transdisciplinary research and an understanding of how mitigation efforts should be complemented by robust adaptation strategies to enhance resilience in vulnerable communities. Previous experience in collaborative research teams that synthesize knowledge from diverse fields will benefit this position.
The selected postdoctoral researcher should be well-versed in global climate action discussions and able to communicate effectively with scientists in related fields. A willingness to integrate perspectives from multiple scientific domains is highly desirable.
